General Operating Fund

Your gift to the General Operating Fund is the lifeblood of our church. These contributions support our daily operations, staff, worship services, and the essential programs that allow FUMC Elgin to be a spiritual home for all.

Building Development Fund (Storm Restoration)

Following the devastating storm on March 15, 2025, we are committed to rebuilding our historic downtown home. This fund directly supports the massive restoration effort, including the installation of our new copper roof, steeple restoration, and repairing significant structural damage to the West Wing and Sanctuary. Your gift helps us ensure that First UMC Elgin remains a landmark of "Faith, Hope, and Action" for the next 100 years.

Capital Campaign (Wiring/Security Project)

As we celebrate a century in our current building, we are looking forward to the next generation of ministry. This campaign funds essential "behind-the-scenes" infrastructure: rewiring the building for modern digital ministry, upgrading our security with carded entry and cameras, and installing a new communication system. We are building a "digital organization with a physical location" to reach our community wherever they are.
