SERVING OUR NEIGHBORS WITH FAITH & COMPASSION

At First UMC Elgin, we are proud to support the Vineyard Church of Elgin as they serve a free, hot breakfast to our neighbors in need every Monday through Saturday starting at 6:45 AM. This vital ministry provides physical, emotional, and spiritual nourishment to individuals facing hardship in our community.

While The Vineyard Church hosts and directs the breakfast program, First UMC Elgin takes full responsibility for providing the breakfast on the first Wednesday of every month only.

With the growing need in our community, we are looking for more volunteers to help us fulfill our monthly commitment!

HOW YOU CAN HELP ON OUR WEDNESDAY

Whether you enjoy cooking or simply love sharing a warm smile, there are several ways you can contribute to our church's monthly breakfast team:

• Prepare Food: Help bake or cook breakfast items at home to bring on our serving day.
• Donate Drinks & Supplies: Bring juice, coffee, milk, or other breakfast essentials.
• Serve in Person: Join us on-site the first Wednesday of the month to serve meals and offer encouragement.
