Sometimes we forget ourselves. Not just where we put our keys or what we were supposed to say— But we forget who we are. Life has a way of chipping away at that: Estrangement. Trauma. Illness. Silence. Racism. Labels. Loss. But grace doesn’t forget. Grace remembers. Grace calls you by name when others call you by what you did… or didn’t do. Grace sees you, even when the world walks by. You haven’t lost who you are—God still knows. You are not your diagnosis. You are not your absence. You are not what you escaped or what broke you. You are named. You are known. You are not forgotten.
