On Saturday, January 20, Rev. Dr. Felicia LaBoy and several members of First UMC Elgin joined members of the Elgin Community in honoring Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., at the Annual City of Elgin Prayer Breakfast.

Rev. LaBoy was asked to give this year's Closing Prayer for Peace and Unity and was joined by Rev. Andrea Williams-Johnson in leading those gathered in song.
