Greenhouse gases include carbon dioxide, methane and other gases that trap heat in our atmosphere and warm our earth. The energy sector is the biggest emitter of human-made greenhouse gases and the greatest contributor to global warming. Global warming contributes to climate change.

On Friday, September 20, 2019 members of the FUMC United Methodist Women joined several hundred students, faculty, and parents from Glenbard North High School in a CLIMATE STRIKE held in Carol Stream. This event was part of a global CLIMATE STRIKE that included events being held across the world.
