5th Annual Chili Cook-Off
Provides a Winning Recipe for Fellowship and Fundraising!
A huge thanks from UMW for your support of the 2020 Chili Cook-Off. Over 80 people attended the event and sampled 19 different varieties of chili. “Votes” for favorites were cast with $1 tickets and together, FUMC raised $1,500 for Allison Duncan’s mission work in Thailand! A highlight of the morning was a video greeting from Allison along with special pictures of the Thai children she works with and shares her love and passion for God.
In addition to the amazing Chili chefs, many bakers provided delicious pies and brownies for purchase. No one left hungry! Wonderful prizes were donated and the top vote winners were announced at the end of the event. Congratulations to Lynda, Jennifer, and Duane! Thanks to all who helped with set-up and clean-up—Job well done!
